Process: Reworked and updated posters
I decided to remove the text from the images. This way the images speak for themselves without being obstructed by a patch of text.
I also used color and non treated text for some of the posters in order to further push the concept for each graphic.
The labels will be separate from the text and done in a way which adds to the theme and visual direction of the series.
I also decided to use some non treated text in order to emphasize certain aspects and also resonate with the text that I'm currently working on.
The posters will be presented in the same order as seen in John Suller’s The Online Disinhibition Effect. Playing off this order I decided to make the posters slightly less dramatic as it gets closer to the end. I used color to represent this hierarchy of importance in the order. In the first one for example (Dissociative Anonimity) you can see that the image is slightly more visible and contrasted by red type. This is because Dissociative Anonimity is the root of the rest of these online disinhibiting elements.
